Background:
Elisabeth has a PhD in Geography from Gothenburg University, Sweden, and has been a Post-doctoral research assistant at the School of Earth and Environment, University of Leeds. She has also worked as an Agriculture extension specialist for UNDP in Vietnam.
Research focus:
Elisabeth's research interests lies within multifunctional farming systems, land use change, land use planning and policy and food security. She is currently involved in several research projects within the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) related to Scaling climate services, and Gender and migration. She is also working on Ecosystem-based adaptation (Vietnam); Decision support systems for agriculture planning (Myanmar); Green infrastructure and Nature-based solutions (Southeast Asia).
