CIFOR in Bogor / Indonesia is looking for a Forestry scientist specialising in carbon reduction
The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) in Bogor is looking for your expertise to support research activities on greenhouse gas emissions in agroforestry systems. Since 2011, CIFOR has been involved in the issue in the framework of the ASEAN-Swiss Partnership on Social Forestry and Climate Change (ASFCC). CIFOR Indonesia is looking to step up its research activities in the field of carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas emissions in forestry and agroforestry ecosystems to help further develop the national strategy for reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD). This will involve close cooperation with GIZ's forest protection and climate change programme.
