Focali has invited Sweden's Deputy Director at Swedish Ministry for Enterprise and Innovation Mia Crawford to join us for our upcoming network meeting on August 26.
Crawford is Sweden's cheif negotiator for LULUCF and will hold a presentation about the ongoing policy process related to land issues in the climate negotiations, the SDGs and the Swedish national forest programme.
Focali members will in turn present their research through "speed talks" followed by discussion panels moderated by Martin Persson.
The purpose of the meeting is to have a mutual research and policy brief on the upcoming climate negotiations in Paris in general and Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF) issues in particular.
The meeting will take place on August 26 1 pm-4 pm in room "Analysen" at Chalmers University of Technology (see road description below). If you would like to attend please contact Focali coordinator Maria Ölund at maria.olund@gu.se.

To find the meeting room Analysen, start by entering the entrance to the EDIT-building at Chalmers, Rännvägen 6. Walk up the stairs to the third floor and in through the door to Avdelningen för Miljösystemanalys. In the corridor at Miljösystemanalys, take the stairs down to the right that leads to the lunchroom. Walk through the lunchroom to find the meeting room.
