The Swedish University of Agriculture (SLU) welcomes everyone to a seminar with Luca Tacconi, Director of the Asia Pacific Network for Environmental Governance! Luca Tacconi is based in Australia, but is on a short visit to Scandinavia. Take the opportunity to learn more about social issues in REDD (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation).

Luca Tacconi is affiliated with the Crawford Schools of Economics and Government at the Australian National University. He was previously a Senior Scientist in CIFOR and Rural Development Advisor with the Australian Agency for International Development. During the past five years, he has been researching the governance and economic aspects of Payment for Environmental Services, REDD and illegal logging with a particular focus on Indonesia, Cameroon, and more recently Papua New Guinea.
