Focali brief 2012:04 by Lisa Westholm
This brief discusses Bolivia’s high ambitions to include indigenous communities in forest-related decision making. As a country with a high forest cover and high deforestation Bolivia is highly interesting from a REDD+ perspective. In addition, the country is trying to position itself as a progressive promoter of indigenous rights. However this briefs shows the difficulties to live up to the political discourse in practice.
