Maria holds an MSc in International Administration and Global Governance and a B.A in International Relations from University of Gothenburg. Her master thesis was an quantitative study of the spread of HIV/AIDS in Europe and Central Asia with a focus on high-risk groups.

 

Currently she is also working as an analyst at Sida's Helpdesk for Envrionment and Climate Change based at GMV and has previous work experience of communication and public diplomacy from the Embassy of Sweden in Washington DC and Transparency International Sweden.
