PhD Candidate Sabine Henders

Sabine is a PhD candidate at Center for Climate Science and Policy Research, Linköping University, Sweden.

Focus area: 

My main research interest is global land use and land use change, with emphasis on tropical deforestation, REDD+, and climate change policy. Current research topics include: international carbon leakage from REDD+; land use change emissions embodied in international trade.

Bachelor (BSc.) International Forest and Ecosystem Management, University of Applied Sciences, Eberswalde, Germany (2003); MSc Tropical and International Forestry, Göttingen University, Germany (2005); 5 years as consultant in the field of land use and climate change at EcoSecurities plc, Oxford, UK (2006-2010); currently PhD Candidate in Environmental Sciences at Center for Climate Science and Policy Research, Linköping (since 2009).
